DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The employee will:
3.1 Check all statistical, ad hoc, and routine reports for accuracy.
3.2 Maintain that statistics at the Information Center reports are valid and up-to-date.
3.3 Provide other departments with statistical consultation as required.
3.4 Assess information pre-analysis for feasibility.
3.5 Apply different statistical methods and formulas (Medical, Social, Environmental,
Administrative, Utilization indicators, etc.).
3.6 Analyze specific workload within certain departments as required thus to calculate
and measure statistical productivity index/measurements.
3.7 Apply Healthcare statistical indicators in all analysis and reports.
3.8 Apply mathematical techniques in solving problems involving system analysis and designs.
3.9 Work within the Information Analyst’s team to analyze the statistical aspect of information.
3.10 Participates in CQI PS activities, including systems control, systems improvement, and staff development.
3.11 Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills, and abilities.
PERSONAL QUALITIES/SKILLS REQUIRED:
9.1 Must have passed the Hospital statistics test.
9.2 Standard of Arabic and English, spoken and written.
9.3 Computer skills in Microsoft Office and using statistical packages e.g. database
and graphics packages.
