Job purpose

  • To lead ERP implementation project with business stakeholders and vendors in the development, setup, and design of the ERP
    system.
    To monitor the ERP utilization, incorporate corporate policies and procedures, meet regulatory compliance and improving
    efficiency.

consistent manner; contribute to cost-efficient usage of resources to reduce wastage and unnecessary expense.

changes in the competitive environment.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of ERP and other related applications at Taiba:
1. User Support and Training
a. Providing module training to the users
b. Providing user support
c. Problem escalation to internal and external stakeholders as per defined metrics
d. Identifying and resolving ERP and related application issues
e. Generating Reports based on user requirements from front/back end
f. Formulating new requirements after taking inputs from business users
g. Writing User Manuals
2. Configuration of ERP and related applications
a. Providing Data setup training for new modules
b. Providing supervision of data entry process
c. Master Data management and maintenance
d. Screens, fields, functions and workflows configuration
e. Report/dashboard creation/configuration
3. Contribute in HIS/ERP adoption
a. Assist clinical users and/or internal team in enhancing the ERP usage
b. Planning, execution and monitoring of unused features of existing clinical modules
c. Planning, execution and monitoring of mobile app for clinicians

d. Help in reduction of paper usage
e. Identify usability issues and try resolving them
4. ERP Implementation
a. Providing Inputs to the user department for implementation of various modules
5. Coordination with Vendor
a. Coordinating with vendor about any development, new requirement and bugs within specified timeline.
6. Knowledge Transfer
a. Providing functional training to the peers and subordinates within IT department
b. Internal training for JCI audit preparation
7. Release Deployment
a. Testing the product patches released by Vendor and track the issues till closure
b. Supporting the User Acceptance Testing for new features/functionalities added in HIS/ERP and related systems
c. Go-live support post deployment of new features
d. Writing Test Cases/Scenarios
8. New Projects
a. Documenting project scope and artifacts
b. Project planning, execution and monitoring
c. Driving to take the project to closure on schedule
d. UAT of applications
e. Periodic review and sharing users’ feedback with vendor
f. Business process re-engineering and system improvement projects
9. Following Departmental Processes
a. Maintaining the tracker of issues reported on day to day
b. Maintaining approval records
c. Any other duties given by the reporting manager

Skills

– Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university,
preferably in finance/commerce discipline
– MBA in finance or supply chain management

– 3+ years of experience as ERP Specialist/Consultant
especially in SAP
– 6+ years overall work experience
– Business consulting / hospital experience will be given
preference

– Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office,
MS Projects and MS Visio
– Good communication skills, both spoken and written. Able to
produce a range of formal and informal documents and
reports.
– Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to deal with different
personalities and levels of understanding and to build good
working relationships with staff at all levels and from a
variety of professional disciplines.
– Influencing and negotiation skills, able to represent new
ideas and concepts to an audience.
