About the Client:
An international shipping vessel agency servicing Africa and Europe, based in West Africa
Job Description:
Accounting; Overseeing accounts, reconciliation, entries, and accruals around month end closing. VAT reporting and reconciliation.
Reporting: Business unit reporting in the group consolidation system, monthly reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
Audit: Contributor in ongoing dialogue with auditor, and year-end audit to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
Internal controls: Follow up on internal controls, documenting, continuously improving, and simplifying our approach.
Reconciliation controls and follow up.
Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing.

Qualifications:
Open to Western or Filipino nationals
Male, 30 to 45 y/o years old
Minimum 2 years’ experience as Finance Controller from a vessel agency / shipping logistics industry
Africa experience is an advantage
